Standard absorbers

Our standard absorbers offer notable physical properties:

  • Flexibility: easily manageable products
  • Mechanical resistance: excellent ageing resistance
  • Power handling: 2kW / m² for standard pyramidal absorbers
  • Temperature resistance: from – 65°C to +160°C for pyramidal absorbers
  • Fire rating: compliant to ISO 11925-2 Euroclass E, NRL 8093 – tests 1, 2 and 3, and DIN 4102 – B2
  • Guaranteed reflectivity performances and resistance over time
  • Compliance for cleanroom use: ISO class 4 classification according to ISO 14644-1: 2015
  • Compliance to environmental standards: raw materials in accordance with REACH & RoHS standards

 

Moreover, we offer a wide choice of colors for our standard absorbers which provides you freedom in terms of customization and brightness in the chamber.

Ferrite tiles / panels, low thickness flat absorbers (7mm) covering a frequency range from 30 MHz to 1 GHz.

Pyramidal absorbers intended to be bonded on ferrite tiles. They cover a frequency range from 1 to 18 (40) GHz.

Combination of ferrite with HY / HYT absorbers covering a frequency range from 30 MHz to 18 (40) GHz.

Broadband pyramidal absorbers, covering a frequency range from 80 MHz to 40 GHz. APM are particularly adapted to automotive, aeronautic, space and defense equipment because they follow the EMC standards which do not require hybrids.

Truncated APM covering a frequency range from 80 MHz to 40 GHz.

For applications in space field for example, SIEPEL offers high power absorbers (AHP) covering a frequency range from 300 MHz to 50 GHz. They are dedicated to areas subject to high power densities (20 kW/m² CW and more) and they can withstand high temperatures generated by a strong field.

These absorbers offer following remarkable physical properties:

  • Mechanical resistance: excellent ageing resistance
  • Maximum temperature: +200°C
  • Fire resistance: in accordance with ISO 11925-2 Euroclass E, NRL 8093 – tests 1, 2 and 3, and DIN 4102 – B2
