Standard absorbers

Our standard absorbers offer notable physical properties:

High-performance pyramidal absorbers covering the frequency range from 80 MHz to 50 GHz. They are adapted to full anechoic chambers for radar cross section (RCS), compact ranges, near field or far field antenna measurements.

Wedge absorbers for anechoic chambers covering a frequency range from 200 MHz to 50 GHz.

Walkway absorbers dedicated to being put on the floor of full anechoic chambers to allow users to move inside the chamber and to reach the antenna or other equipment under tests. They cover a frequency range from 200 MHz to 12 (18) GHz and have a temperature resistance from -65°C to +100°C.

Flat absorbers made of 3 or 5 layers covering a frequency range from 100 MHz to 40 GHz. They are used to cover metallic surfaces of masts and antenna bases. They can also help to reduce coupling effects between antennas. With small thicknesses, a strong absorption can be obtained.

For applications in space field for example, SIEPEL offers high power absorbers (AHP) covering a frequency range from 300 MHz to 50 GHz. They are dedicated to areas subject to high power densities (20 kW/m² CW and more) and they can withstand high temperatures generated by a strong field.
