Automotive and Industry

Automotive

Vehicles are being equipped with an ever greater proportion of electronic components and systems (on-board computer, anti-collision radar, GPS, telephony solutions, etc.). This electronic equipment, some of which serves safety-related functions, must be tested under conditions similar to those of real-life operation.

Our chambers make it possible to perform tests on subassemblies and complete vehicles in accordance with standards such as:

  • CISPR 25: Vehicles, boats and internal combustion engines – Radio disturbance characteristics – Limits and methods of measurement for the protection of on-board receivers
  • ISO11452-x: Road vehicles – Component test methods for electrical disturbances
  • ISO 11451: Immunity of vehicles to radiated disturbances
  • ISO 11452: Immunity of components to radiated disturbances
  • ISO 7637: Immunity of components to disturbances due to conduction
  • Immunity of vehicles and components to electrostatic discharges (ESD)
  • Telecommunications, etc.
  • EN 61000-4-21: Testing and measurement techniques – Reverberation chamber test methods
  • PSA, Ford, etc. standards

Industry

Electronic components and systems are also highly present in every sector of industry. Before any product can be launched on the market, it must comply with the relevant standards on electromagnetic compatibility. Our chambers are designed in accordance with the following standards:

  • CISPR 16-1-4 (NSA up to 1GHz/SVSWR 1 to 18GHz)
  • IEC/EN 61000-4-3: Testing and measurement techniques – Radiated, radio-frequency, electromagnetic field immunity test.
  • CISPR 11: Industrial, scientific and medical equipment
  • CISPR 14: Electronic household appliances
  • CISPR 15: Lighting and similar equipment
  • CISPR 32: Multimedia equipment
