Our wide range of EMC electromagnetic absorbers

Absorbers designed and manufactured by Siepel comply with standardised Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests, such as:

  • Automotive: CISPR25, ISO 11452
  • Aeronautics & space: RTCA/DO160x
  • Industry: CISPR/EN 14 -16 -22, IEC/EN 61000-4-3
  • Defence: MIL-STD-461, STANAG (incl. AECTP 500)

All the following models can be used in new installations, for refurbishment or upgrading of chambers. Our expertise allows us to offer you the right absorbers for a specific chamber design and / or installation.

SEA-PM – Broadband pyramidal absorbers

SEA-PM absorbers with truncated tips, SEA-TM optimise the usable space inside anechoic chambers. EMC applications: defence and aeronautics.

SEA-HY – Hybrid pyramidal absorbers

SEA-HY are used in EMC anechoic chambers for commercial and industrial testing (CISPR16-1-4), automotive (CISPR25), defence (MIL-STD-461) and aerospace (DO160). They are hybrid absorbers glued on ferrite absorbers panels which can be purchased together or separately.

Our SEA-HY can be installed to upgrade or renovate existing ferrite chambers.

SEA-FE – Ferrite absorbers

Absorbers made of ferrites. Chambers lined with ferrite tiles can meet the performances requested by EMI and EMS testing up to 1 GHz.

In order to extend the performances up to 18 GHz (or more), hybrid foam absorbers must be added on top of the ferrite tiles. We recommend using SEA-HY & HYT.
